Why is the game drm-free in the bundle but not when bought directly from the humble store ? I'm not gonna buy it in the HB since it's the only game I'm interested in...
DMR-free versions of all three ports, PC, Mac and Linux, will be available at the Humble Store very shortly. The humble team just hasn't gotten to it yet, but it's coming.

Just wanted to say thanks a ton for making the DRM free version available outside of the bundle.
I prefer not to get games through bundles (I think it encourages devaluing games and I usually end up never getting around to playing most of them anyway), but on more than one occasion I've seen games go DRM free only for the bundle and never anywhere else, so I often feel caught between a rock and a hard place with either buying a whole bunch of games I don't need or particularly care about, or getting roped into Steam.
I know it might seem small, but I really appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We thought the DMR-free version (which we supplied to the Humble Store in October), was available. I guess we should have checked. We just sent them an email so that they can rectify the situation.
