Zero Steam features. GFWL. Thanks but why? :(

Hi I'm having Problems starting your game. It keeps telling me about another instance running in the back. Any Ideas?

If you're going to port the game, at least spend some effort to port it properly... Also the majority of PC gamers hate GFWL so it's obvious you guys didn't care about this port.

Just played over an hour of your game ... and it's amazing! Yes, I'm not happy about GfWL (although it's not the devil), and the dollar = euro nonsense put me off at first.

But the art style, the music, the tight controls (I'm using an XBox 360 controller, btw) ... it's really a mesmerizing game.

Thanks very much for bringing this to the PC!

A number of people have reported a similar issue to that which X-Site has encountered: Basically an error message saying another instance of the game is running. If after you've checked task manager and indeed another instance is not running it's most likely there is an issue with GFWL either not properly installed or not properly set up. We've compiled a list of useful links below that can help you through the issue:

Was the game only discounted on XBLA for the duration of the pre-release time, or is the price meant to be permanently lowered? Your sentence suggests the latter, so I was disappointed to find that it's [still?] listed at 1200 MSP as of this morning. Or does that price include the addon? I hadn't heard of this game until the other day.

It should be discounted to 800 msp. We're looking into this right now and will make sure that Microsoft corrects this ASAP.

Salut!

You must have been asked the question over and over, but do you think Shadow Planet will ever be ported to the PS3?

The game is published by Microsoft Games Studios. Is it temporary or will your contract end someday, allowing you to make a ps3 version?
It would look nice on that console, and at least your customers wouldn't have to deal with GFWL.

Merci, et bonne soirée!

Thank you for not leaving PC gamers in the cold!

While I was also bummed about the GFWL choice (I'm one of those unlucky people who can't get the service to work half the time) and Euro price, I know it's completely out of your hands.

Otherwise, I have experienced no problems with the actual game so far - it's wonderful! It's a very smooth port and it's definitely been worth the nearly five year wait.

Oh, but I do have one major problem.

I cannot play online due to GFWL. It lets me log in (half of the time), but never lets me play a game multiplayer. So I have to go local, and that's kind of a pain since I only know one person who would want to play this locally with me.

Congrats on the launch for the PC!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU for releasing on PC. I some how didn't realize it til now but have purchased it right away. Even with using GFWL, I still want to support this game since it is amazing.

We need more games like this in the industry for all platforms. Thank you!!

Hello can you please explain how you break the red crystal in the ice stage. I have aligned all the lasers correctly, and am using my laxer on the small protruding crystal on the left side of the red crystal..

It is not breaking, can you please explain how you did this? Do i have to upgrade my laxer or something? or is this a bug in the game?

Have a look at this video. That might show you what you are missing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwYpbcvg4l4&feature=relmfu

Just in case you're still checking the comments: there's a game-breaking bug in the PC version. Here's a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNrbZUDq59A . It's impossible to connect the cable and advance further; reloading the save doesn't help.

I own and love the Xbox 360 and would have happily bought the PC version, too. But GFWL is a deal-breaker for me, and I won't ever buy this :(

I had to use a crack just to play it and I bought it legit off steam. I downloaded all those bullshit GFWL updates and it still wouldn't work.

I really love the game. I also felt like the negative GFWL comments were a bit perhaps uncalled for. Then I beat the campaign with 100% completion and noticed that I was missing a few achievements for beating some bosses. "Lame.... but okay fine. I can do this again -- no problem."

So I gladly did it again and I did get the achievements on GFWL -- but they didn't transfer to my Xbox Live account -- even on xbox.com. So now I've got a jacked up XBL account in regards to this game and there doesn't seem to be any way to rectify it.

I know it's just a nit, but it really does bug me in some minor * but completely unnecessary* way. Now I'm finding myself trying to hack my profile just to get recognition for achievements which I've rightly earned.

Again, wonderful game -- THANK YOU! Glad I've been able to play it. However GFWL is evidently busted.

Hi guys,

I'd like to play this great game on a 3 monitor setup and allthough I can select a 5930 x 1080 resolution the image is totally stretched. I'm not a programmer but I can't image it would be difficult to fix this.

And, since I'm asking favors anyway, could you add 3D (like vision 3D vision 2) support? You might think 3D support will add nothing to the experience but I think Rayman Origins or Trine 2 have proven otherwise.

Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Pfipfo

Hi ! We are several people now who have experienced a corrupt savegame after finishing the electrical level. (see this link on the steam forums http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2665702 ). Is there any way to restore the game at some point instead of starting all over again ?

any chance we'll see a Mac version on Steam?
